TIS-100 is a nice programming puzzle game that will get you to utilize every single of your brain cells!

This review is purely based on my experience of this game. I tried my best not to let other games affect my view of this game too much and rate everything on an for this game appropriate scale! This review does contain spoilers, some of which may not be marked as such!
Quite literally MS-DOS. Not because it's bad, but thats just how the game is. Looking like a terminal
☐ Very good
☑ Good
☐ It's just gameplay
☐ Mehh
☐ Watch paint dry instead
☐ Just don't
In TIS-100 you spend your time solving problems by writing "code" in order to move numbers from an input to an output and transform those numbers in the process.
To do that, you're provided with a manual/documentation on how to use the necessary functions.
On top of the levels provided by the game, we also get to play custom levels made by other players.

☑ Not too bad
☐ Bad
☐ I'm now deaf
While the sounds certainly aren't bad as such, there didn't really seem to be all too many sounds.
TIS-100 keeps it very simple, with some typical sounds you'd expect an old computer to make.
Does get kinda quiet at times.
☐ Kids
☑ Teens
☑ Adults
☐ Grandma
The game certainly needs you to have some kinda affinity to computers and will force you to use your brain a lot.
I wouldn't say it's suited for Kids but everyone above that could certainly give this a try.
☑ Check if you can run paint
☐ Potato
☐ Decent
☐ Fast
☐ Rich boi
☐ Ask NASA if they have a spare computer
Like literally. If you can't run TIS-100, then your computer probably doesn't run at all.
If your PC can't handle this, you might wanna try your toaster next.

☑ Old Fashioned
☐ Workable
☐ Big
☐ Will eat 10% of your 1TB hard drive
☐ You will want an entire hard drive to hold it
☐ You will need to invest in a black hole to hold all the data
At the time of writing this review the game was a whopping 47.87MB on Steam!
☐ Just press 'W'
☐ Easy
☐ Easy to learn / Hard to master
☑ Significant brain usage
☐ Difficult
☐ Dark Souls
The earlier levels might feel fairly easy, especially if you're not new to this type of game or maybe even programming in general,
but further down the line, the game will force you to use every single brain cell that's left (after them burning down).
You will definitely need that manual/documentation.
☑ Nothing to grind
☐ Only if u care about leaderboards/ranks
☐ Isn't necessary to progress
☐ Average grind level
☐ Too much grind
☐ You'll need a second life for grinding
Well. You're going to grind your teeth, that's for sure.
☐ No Story
☑ Some lore
☐ Average
☐ Good
☐ Lovely
☐ It'll replace your life
The game does have a lore. Most people don't know about it and those who do are mostly confused. Every level got a "node" which needs to be fixed.
These nodes usually show you pieces of the lore which you can try to make sense of.
☐ Long enough for a cup of coffee
☐ Short
☐ Average
☑ Long
☐ To infinity and beyond
According to How Long To Beat the "main story" is about 15 hours and a completionist run could be anywhere between 25 to 100 hours.
As you can see it totally depends on yourself how long it's gonna take.
☐ It's free!
☑ Worth the price
☐ If it's on sale
☐ If u have some spare money left
☐ Not recommended
☐ You could also just burn your money
The normal price on Steam is a whopping 6.89€. That's pretty much a steal.
☑ Never heard of
☐ Minor bugs
☐ Can get annoying
☐ ARK: Survival Evolved
☐ The game itself is a big terrarium for bugs
Welp. I didn't encounter any bugs myself in my playthrough.

The game gets a good 9/10 from me.
The game is definitely good at what it does and what it tries to be!
