Oh god. That's how we gonna start yea? Graphics? Damn alright.
Let me just say this. This game is beautiful! I've played on the highest graphics on 4k with hi-res textures which were bigger than the rest of the game!
Much better than Monster Hunter: World!

I gotta be honest. I haven't really played previous Monster Hunter games. I started World some time ago but had some issues which caused me to stop early on and I never really got into the series..
Until Wilds came out and my friends got me to play it! While I had a lot of fun with the game and it's gameplay, it's still hard for me to really compare it to the previous games.
I did hear from my friends though that they've simplified the game and especially the crafting by a lot so that you apparently have to grind less now.
I also had the feeling that Wilds was really simple.. And I mean I finished it pretty fast too.

Good music, good monster sounds, good everything.. BUT.. Of course the characters constantly have to repeat themselves..
After a while their voice lines might start to get on your nerves..
I KNOW THAT I CAN CARVE SMALL MONSTERS TOO! SHUT UP ALREADY!
YOU HEARD FROM THE OTHERS? GOOD FOR YOU I DON'T CARE!

If you want proper performance you definitely need a proper setup. Sure you can go for what the recommended specs say, but they also only expect you to play on medium settings at 1080p with 60fps AND even frame gen enabled.
If you have to enable frame gen to get 60fps at 1080p and medium settings then it's either time for an upgrade or for proper optimizations on the game side.

☐ Floppy Disk
☐ Old Fashioned
☐ Workable
☑ Big
☐ Will eat 10% of your 1TB hard drive
☑ You will want an entire hard drive to hold it
☐ You will need to invest in a black hole to hold all the data
At the time of writing this review the game was a whopping 67.68GB (+65.16GB for Hi-Res textures) on Steam!
☐ Just press 'W'
☐ Easy
☑ Easy to learn / Hard to master
☐ Significant brain usage
☐ Difficult
☐ Dark Souls
Honestly I felt like it was very easy to get into the game. I heard similar things from others too. But not every weapon is easy to handle, especially in high rank apex fights.
☐ Nothing to grind
☐ Only if u care about leaderboards/ranks
☑ Isn't necessary to progress
☐ Average grind level
☐ Too much grind
☐ You'll need a second life for grinding
As I previously mentioned, I didn't really play the prequels... But if you just want to get through the game, without caring about all the achievements, you definitely won't have to grind much.
If you want all the achievements on the other hand it'll be a bit more work, especially getting all the gold crowns, though even they are fairly easy to farm..
From what I've heard this game has a lot less grind than the previous titles.
Honestly tho the biggest grind for me was getting those Gore Magala Feelers! That dude just didn't want to sit still and let me destroy them!
☐ No Story

☐ It'll replace your life
The story yea.. I mean it was pretty nice at the beginning but later on I just kind of started to hate one of the main characters and he really got on my nerves.
I'd say the story is nothing too special, but it's definitely not bad. Though I really just wanted to fight monsters and all their talking and all the cut scenes, which made the game feel like a movie, kinda kept me from doing so!
☐ Long enough for a cup of coffee
☐ Short
☐ Average
☑ Long
☐ To infinity and beyond
My 100% playthrough took me around 100 hours while, according to How Long To Beat the main story is only about 17 hours (Main + Extras 37 hours) and a completionist run could be anywhere between 70 to 172 hours.
☐ It's free!
☑ Worth the price
☐ If it's on sale
☐ If u have some spare money left
☐ Not recommended
☐ You could also just burn your money
Monster Hunter Wilds can definitely be worth the price, especially if you have friends to play with and wanna go for the 100%!
☐ Never heard of
☑ Minor bugs
☐ Can get annoying
☐ ARK: Survival Evolved
☐ The game itself is a big terrarium for bugs
Yea, there are a few things that might happen while playing. But it's usually nothing big. My biggest issues were the horrible mouse and keyboard controls and the menus of course.

Anyways, it was my first Monster Hunter I actually played and I did have a lot of fun. Much more than I expected, especially because I didn't even want to get it until I saw a friend of mine stream it on day 1!
Though it did gave me less of a challenge than I was hoping and I kinda do agree that the grinding seemed to have gone down quite a bit.
Therefore I'll only give it an 8/10 because it wasn't quite what you'd expect from a Monster Hunter game.
