Both the german and english voice actors are great! The music is lovely, even makes me turn off my music on stream so that we can instead listen to the games music.

I'd say everyone can play it really. But it does have some jokes, which might not be appropriate for everyone.
I mean it's 12+ so it's definitely nothing bad or anything.

This game is old. It certainly doesn't need all too much.

☐ Easy to learn / Hard to master
☐ Significant brain usage

The game itself is super easy, but you will have to use your brain for some of the riddles and of course like in every Point&Click you will have to think about how to connect items with each other and how to use them.
☑ Nothing to grind

It's a very linear story game, which is typical for this type of game. There isn't much you can do wrong, there isn't really much to miss, except for some dialogues maybe.

☐ It'll replace your life
The story is great, it contains tons of easter eggs and makes fun of all kinds of movie and game universes. It's pretty much a parody.
You play 3 characters, a gnome, a wood elf and a human "adventurer".
You start as Ivo trying to save an archaeologist, who made a very important discovery, from the fangs of evil on the back of a dragon.
The archaeologist then gives a very important ring to the gnome, who just finished his shift in probably the last dwarven pub, telling him to bring it to the arch mage and that it could decide the war, that's been ongoing for a very, very, very long time.
And that's how you start your adventure to find an almighty artifact which can grant every wish.
☐ Long enough for a cup of coffee
☐ Short
☑ Average
☐ Long
☐ To infinity and beyond
My latest 100% playthrough took me about 13 hours on stream while, according to How Long To Beat the "main story" is about 13 hours and a completionist run could be anywhere between 12 to 21 hours.
☐ It's free!
☑ Worth the price
☐ If it's on sale
☐ If u have some spare money left
☐ Not recommended
☐ You could also just burn your money
The normal price on Steam is a whopping 19.99€. The game is definitely worth that much in my opinion, but if you are not sure if you like Point&Click games, you might want to catch it on a sale.
☑ Never heard of
☐ Minor bugs
☐ Can get annoying
☐ ARK: Survival Evolved
☐ The game itself is a big terrarium for bugs
Honestly. I've had multiple playthroughs and I can't remember any bugs in The Book of Unwritten Tales.

I'm giving this game a 9/10. It might seem a little high, but for me, this game is a setting stone for who I am today.
It's one of the first games I've been enjoying on PC and the first Point&Click I've ever played.
Who knows what I might've become if I wouldn't have played The Book of Unwritten Tales.
